About Marc Fortier:
Marc was a forklift driver in his native Montreal when I met him. He had traveled very little, and spoke no English. But his way of speaking French was really charming, and he was very excited about being in Florida; "It's just like a vacation!" he often said. He said that he had never had any previous sexual experience with other men, but his inhibitions dropped once we started filming. "You know, this isn't so bad at all", he told me.
